Jonathan Fahnestock AKA Tumor was born in Chambersburg Pennsylvania and performed originally as a Lead Guitarist in in the Central Pennsylvania Band “Axtress” In the late 1980s/early 1990s, Fahnestock played bass with drummer Shannon Larkin (now with Godsmack) and guitarist Jay Abbene (both with Wrathchild America at the time) in a project known as Kiddie Porn. Kiddie Porn released two independent recordings, “A Gift of Hate” and “Conflict of Mind”. as the bassist and also the legendary grind-core outfit R.C. (Ripped Clit). In the early 90′s MF Pitbulls was born from the ashes of K.P.XXX which dissolved when Larkin joined Santa Barbara’s Ugly Kid Joe.
In 1995 John also migrated west and joined Santa Barbara’s legendary Snot, he later played in Amen and Noise Within. Released an album with Lo-Pro and in 2005 he formed Three Thirteen Merch, a clothing outlet. He has rejoined Amen, and has just finished up a ‘secret-no bullshit-no barricades’ tour round the UK, with Casey Chaos, playing more intense gigs than ever before.
He also was in the short-lived band Mothra with frontman Jasan Radford and guitarist Levon Sultani (both from OneSideZero) and drummer Roy Mayorga of Soulfly and Stone Sour fame.
He is currently also playing in NOISE WITHIN, a band with singer Boris Bouma (Epidemic), and also replaced Nic Olivera (Queens of The Stone Age, Mondo Generator, KYUS) in The KNIVES.
